Stress and Well-being
With an estimated 78% of workers now experiencing stress in their lives, there has never been a clearer need for staff and employers to consider taking steps to promote well-being. Raising awareness of stress, its causes and having a toolkit of approaches to deal with it that suit a range of people, is an important step in both improving lives and in keeping down the costs of low-productivity and days lost to illness. It makes sense. So how can we work to achieve an all-round win-win situation?
People learn better when they are relaxed, feel safe, listened to and can link new learning to their own knowledge and experience. A learner-centred approach, where people are active participants and the learning is well-paced and fun, are some of the greatest motivators, along with a comfortable group.
As an experienced meditation and mindfulness teacher I offer tailor-made tasters, workshops and courses for groups and individuals. These can be delivered in the workplace or in the peaceful setting of the retreat in Crowhurst, East Sussex.
